The Childcare Ministry at Waterville Baptist is intended to provide care and education for the spiritual development of each child, ages birth through four years. This is accomplished by caring individuals who offer guidance and age (developmentally)-appropriate activities and programs. These programs include Sunday School and Extended Session (during worship). Preschool classes offer Bible lessons and activities presented in ways that make it easy to learn for children in this department.
Waterville teachers help each child learn about Jesus as well as relationships with family and friends. In the Extended Session, children have a safe environment to interact with adults and other children of the same age. This gives parents and older siblings the opportunity to participate in worship, knowing their preschooler is being nurtured and spiritually-fed by caring adult volunteers. There are also quarterly activities and outings to encourage families to spend time together.
